Tongue firmly in cheek, Cold Pumas have shared the first taste from their forthcoming LP The Hanging Valley coming 1 July 2016 via Faux Discx / Gringo Records. Described as "showing a sensitivity that inevitably does nothing for the craft beer revolution", it's an acidic, heady trip of a track that hypnotically charges along in the vein of Preoccupations (f.k.a Viet Cong) or Parquet Courts. The relentless, driving drum beat is egged-on by its bass counterpart from the very opening and with it's crunching, increasingly feeding-back guitar work and languid vocal melody, 'Fugue States' offers no respite from the band's post-punk, garage-charged output.
